Playlist Sample Schedule

Like a playlist is a personal collection of favorites, campers create their own activities and schedules, making each day a unique remix of experiences, ideas, and experiments.

  • 1. 9:00 AM - Morning Sound Check
A chance for connection and community building in small groups before a busy, fun-filled day! Oh, and... I heard Chef Marina made her famous homemade chocolate chip banana muffins for snack!
  • 2. 9:15 AM - Opening Act at Main Stage
Large group welcome, silly songs, overview of the camp-wide PLAYlist for the day. Campers are always invited to hop on stage and sing or play along!
  • 3. 9:45 - 10:45 AM - Track 1
Choose from a variety of activity options (typically 4-5 choices) designed by counselors or created in partnership with campers! What kinds of options? The possibilities are endless! Some of our most popular choices are using real tools in Fort City, hiking up to the swimming hole, and even staying at The Main Stage to work with a counselor on a new activity idea.
  • 4. 10:45 - 11:00 AM - Intermission
Rest is essential- even when there is so much fun to choose from! Campers take a 15-minute break between morning tracks, and they are always welcome to hang out in the supervised Chill Zone.
  • 5. 11:00 - 12:00 PM - Track 2
Campers regroup at Main Stage to choose their second option. Let’s pop into a camper’s thoughts to hear what it’s like to choose an option… “Wow, which option do I want to do right now? I love the giant swing at the ropes course, but that’ll take up the whole time of Track 2 so maybe something else. What about arts and crafts - they’re making balloon rockets? Maybe… Capture the flag? Nah, don’t feel like running. Oh, Kyle and I can go work on our fort in Fort City, yeah! And then if we get bored we can leave and play gaga or chill in the hammocks. Totally!!”
  • 6. 12:00 - 12:45 PM - Lunch
Bring your own lunch or enjoy Chef Marina's homemade meals. We can safely cater to most food allergies and always offer a variety of fresh, healthy options. But don't worry campers- chicken tenders are always here to stay!
  • 7. 12:45 - 1:30 PM - The Main Act
Every day after lunch, kids will have the opportunity to participate in an OUTRAGEOUS ALL-CAMP ACTIVITY! Anything and everything is a go. These all-camp games are often even designed by our campers! A fashion show with designer items made exclusively from recycling and trash? Yes. Have the local firetruck come in for a spray & play? Absolutely. A camp-wide Pokemon tournament? It's a (Pokemon) GO! The air-conditioned calm cabin is always open for campers who want a more "unplugged" afternoon with some R&R.
  • 8. 1:30 - 2:30 PM - Track 3
“It’s just after lunch, so a Pokemon card tournament sounds awesome! Or maybe creating our own obstacle course in the adventure playground. We could go play a board game in the air-conditioned Calm Cabin? Or go on a creek hike to look for frogs and salamanders? Oh, Projectile Park is open for shooting targets with slingshots and paintballs!! YES.”
  • 9. 2:30 - 2:45 PM - Afternoon Intermission
A quick 15 minute break to get a drink of water, use the bathroom, and enjoy Chef Marina's afternoon snack creation (like Strawberries and Cream!?!)
  • 10. 2:45 - 3:45 PM - Track 4
“Wow, I’m tired. I think I want something low key. Kickball? No way. Oh, I could go make something in Woodshop? Nah, maybe tomorrow. Let’s see, Giant Swing is available, but that’s a lot of teamwork, and I feel like being alone. Arts and crafts, no, volleyball, no, gaga, no… Oh! I can go grab something from the Book Nook and lay in the hammock to read a graphic novel or play cards with some friends. Yes, that’s exactly how I want to end my day.”
  • 11. 3:45 - 4:00 PM - Encore
Campers meet with their small group counselor one more time to decompress, debrief their day, and make requests for the PLAYlist for tomorrow!
